Bridging the
spiritual and the
material
Cath Prema is a dharma life author and digital systems builder.
She wrote You Are Not Broken. You Are Patterned. A book about the nervous system, the body, and making peace with money. All royalties go to charity and toward building a dharma hermitage.
She began with
twenty pesos
and an open door.
There was a time she had less than a dollar to her name. One can of food a day. No rent money. No fallback. She had walked away from a job that was consuming her, not recklessly, but because staying had become a slow erasure.
A friend had 200 pesos. He chose to give it. Fare money, a borrowed computer, a small project, and a skill she did not yet have. Her sister gave her a roof, food on the table, and something rarer. Room. Room to fall apart. Room to put herself back together. Room to do the healing work.
That is where Cath Prema began. Not in a moment of arrival, but in the long, unglamorous work of becoming.
“The tree wasn’t ready to fruit. You cannot force a season.”
Seven years of practice followed. Meditation. Ceremonies. Shadow work. Doubt. Anger. The fear of being wrong. She sat in circles where her voice would not come, and felt what years of holding in had cost. Her family called it madness. The work was real, and what it showed her changed everything.
She is a dharma life author. She walks pilgrimage routes and builds digital systems. She has sat in silence at Wat Chedi Luang in Chiang Mai, watching a woman pray with folded banknotes, and received the answer she needed. Worth depends on how you offer it.
She is building a hermitage. A place where practice is free and the ground itself is the teacher. Her book, You are not broken. You are patterned., is not self-help. It is a transmission. Every royalty from it goes toward that dream.
She bridges the spiritual and the material not as a philosophy, but as a life. She meditates, she builds, and she ships. She gives generously and thinks precisely. Her work, whether it is a book, a digital system, or a conversation, is an act of dharma.
“If you are in your own twenty-peso moment right now, stay. The story is not whole yet.”Grounded. Visionary. Bridging worlds.
You Are Not Broken.
You Are Patterned.
The Nervous System, the Body, and the Practice of Peace with Money
“You aren’t bad with money. You are running an outdated survival program that hasn’t realized the crisis is over.”
All author royalties are offered to charity and to the building of a Dharma center. A gesture of gratitude for the teachings that shaped this work.
